Zoria ("the App," "we," "us") is a white noise and sleep sound app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect, and how the few pieces of data that exist are handled.
In short: Zoria has no backend server, requires no account, and collects no personal data about you. Everything the app remembers stays on your device.
Zoria does not ask you to sign up, log in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier. There is no user profile, no cloud account, and no way for us to identify you individually. The app makes no network requests to any server operated by us, because we don't have one.
We do not collect:
Apple's Privacy Manifest for the iOS build (ios/zoria/PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) formally declares NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes as empty and NSPrivacyTracking as false, consistent with everything above.
To make the App work, a small amount of data is saved locally on your phone using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). None of it ever leaves your device or is visible to us:

If you delete the App, all of this is deleted along with it. We have no copy of it anywhere else and no way to recover it.
Zoria offers an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial (3 days by default; the exact length is shown in the app before you subscribe). All billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store (and, on Android, the Google Play Store, where applicable) — Zoria never receives, processes, or stores your payment card details.
Your subscription and trial status are read directly from Apple's on-device StoreKit transaction records each time the app needs them. We do not maintain our own record of your subscription status on any server, because there is no server. Managing or canceling your subscription happens entirely inside Apple's or Google's own subscription-management screens, which the app links out to.
Auto-renewable subscription terms: Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Zoria may ask for permission to send you local notifications. These are scheduled entirely on your device — there is no push notification server, no push token is generated or collected, and no notification content is ever sent to us or through any third-party push service.
The app schedules at most two kinds of local reminders:
You can disable notifications anytime in your device's system Settings; this doesn't affect any other functionality.
All sounds in Zoria are bundled with the app and play entirely offline — nothing is streamed from a server, and we have no record of which sounds you play, how often, or for how long.
On iOS, Zoria integrates with the system's Now Playing / Control Center and Lock Screen controls (play, pause, skip) so you can control playback without opening the app, and supports sending audio to another AirPlay or Bluetooth device through Apple's native output picker. Reading the name of a connected device (e.g., "Living Room Speaker") happens locally through Apple's system frameworks purely to display it in the app's UI — this information is never transmitted anywhere by us.
If you choose to rate Zoria, your rating goes directly to Apple through Apple's own native review prompt — we never see or store the star rating or review text you submit through that flow. A small amount of local-only state (how many times you've seen our own "enjoying the app?" pre-prompt, and when) is kept on-device purely to avoid asking too often; see §2.
If you use the in-app "Share" option, it opens your device's native share sheet with a link to the app. What you do from there — which app or contact you share it through — is between you and your device's operating system. We have no visibility into whether or how you used it.

Zoria does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library access.
Zoria uses the following platform-provided frameworks to implement the features above. None of these are third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services — they are Apple/Google system frameworks or on-device-only libraries:
Zoria is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children, and does not knowingly collect information from children. Because the app has no mechanism to receive or store personal information from any user, it likewise has no mechanism to receive such information from a child — everything described in §2 is local device storage only.
Because Zoria doesn't collect or store personal data on any server, there's generally no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If Zoria's data practices change — for example, if we add analytics, a backend service, or new integrations in the future — we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above.
